Head Coach: Nicola Seabrook
Nicola is a ‘lifer’ at Killerwhales having been a member for 20 years plus. Nicola was a very committed and enthusiastic swimmer, never wanting to be second best. She was very successful at both Essex and Southern County level and achieved a hatful of National finals over several years. Nicola has brought her many attributes to coaching, she is dedicated, enthusiastic and is committed totally to Killerwhales. Not only will you see her coaching the Senior Squad you will also find her teaching at our Learn to Swim. Nicola will personally know the majority of the swimmers and their parents throughout the club.
Lower Senior Coach: Darren Stevenson
Darren swam competitively up until a few years ago, he was very successful in Essex/Southern Counties finals and has competed in several National finals. He has a proven track record in coaching. He has the same characteristics as the Head Coach, he is young, very committed and enthusiastic. He has what it takes to prepare swimmers for great things. Again you will see Darren teaching at all levels within the swimming club and enjoying doing so.
Junior Coach: Issy Joels
Issy has been at Killerwhales for a number of years and has coached at different levels. The Junior Squad is now her domain... She remains committed and driven, swimming is her passion. Issy has a competitive background, having successfully competed in Essex, Southern County and National finals.
Junior Coach: Laura Andrews
Laura coaches the Lower Junior Squad. Laura is well known to many club members both as a former competitive swimmer and Learn to Swim Teacher with the Killerwhales. Laura was a very successful as a swimmer winning Essex and Southern County titles.
